Bio:
Born in Buffalo, NY, jazz artist Cindy Bradley combines musical intuition, a keen melodic sense, and a strong command of the instrument to her improvisations and performances. She has enjoyed a varied career in music from a young age. Having worked and studied with jazz greats including John McNeil, Bob Brookmeyer, Jerry Bergonzi, George Russell, and Cecil McBee, she also currently performs and tours with Sly Geralds (bassist to Maceo Parker) and her own group. Last summer Cindy was invited to tour with legendary jazz group Pieces of a Dream.
Considered the newest member of the “Grover Washington family,” Cindy has performed at numerous major jazz festivals, smooth jazz cruises, 4 Superbowls, Emmy award parties, etc.
As a jazz educator she has conducted numerous jazz workshops, including clinics at the Frederick Douglas School in Harlem, NY. She holds a Masters Degree in jazz trumpet performance from the New England Conservatory and a Bachelors in jazz studies from Ithaca College. Her first solo CD entitled “Just a Little Bit” was recently released and is now available for sale. Cindy currently resides in New York City area where she continues to perform, write, and record.
